Head of Sales - Inbound | Fully Remote | Europe based

Here's the part that matters for this role: We are mainly inbound in our sales efforts. Brands and agencies come to us. Hundreds of qualified companies sign up and try the platform every month without us cold-calling a single one. The challenge isn't finding demand, it's making sure the demand we already have turns into customers who get real results. 🌟 The Role: As Head of Sales – Inbound, you own the entire journey from companies sign up until they become paying. You run the department that decides whether a new company gets stuck at signup, starts a trial, sets up their first Catalog Ads properly, beats their current ads in an A/B test, and converts. That funnel is the single biggest lever on our new MRR, and you own it end-to-end: the numbers, the playbook, and the team that delivers on it. This is not a classic Head of Sales role. There's no outbound quota, no SDR team to build, no cold pipeline to manufacture. It's also a hands-on role. You'll lead the team, but you'll carry your own accounts and run the plays yourself. At Confect Heads Of are player-coaches, not pure managers. Your Day-to-Day:

• Own the funnel: New MRR, trial started %, and trial conversion rate are key metrics.
• Lead the team: Direct manage the Onboarding Managers. Set their goals, run the weekly rhythm, do the 1:1s, hire when the workload calls for it, and grow people.
• Run your own accounts: You carry companies through activation and trial, just like your team does. You lead by doing.
• Make customers win: Get new companies to implement Confect correctly, get 2–3 strong designs live, get a clean A/B test running.
• Improve the playbook: Our process, email templates, follow-up cadences and dashboards already exist and work. Your job is to make them sharper every quarter, and to kill what doesn't impact the key metrics.
• Work the data: Live in our activation and revenue dashboards. Segment, spot patterns, and act on them.
• Hand over cleanly: Every converted customer gets a proper handover to Customer Success, with a clear decision to commit and full context transferred.
• Be the voice of the customer: Feed lead quality back to Marketing, product friction and feature gaps back to Product, and agency learnings back to our partnerships team.

🌟 About You: Must-haves:

• Inbound / product-led / Sales SaaS background: You have run a sales department in B2B SaaS.
• Hands-on by default: You want to own accounts, write the emails, take the calls. If you're looking for a role where you only manage, this isn't it.
• Comfortable at volume: Many companies in flight at once, each at a different stage. You stay organized and keep momentum without dropping anyone.
• Data-driven in practice, not just on a CV: You're comfortable in dashboards, you can read a funnel, and you make decisions from numbers rather than gut feel.
• Consultative, not pushy: Our whole approach is "don't sell, help them." You get further by asking "if this was my company, what would I do?" than by pitching.
• Direct people management experience: You've formally led a commercial team — set goals, run 1:1s, hired, and grown people.
• Excellent written and spoken English: Much of the job happens over email, and the rest happens on calls with customers and agencies across Europe. You write short, clear and human, and you're just as comfortable leading a live conversation.
• Based in Europe: Required for timezone alignment with our team and customers.

Nice-to-haves:

• E-commerce or paid social knowledge: Meta ads, product feeds, catalogs, ROAS. You'll get up to speed fast either way, but it's a head start if you already speak this language.
• You've fixed a funnel before: You've found a real drop-off in a customer journey, diagnosed it properly, and moved the number.
• Agency experience: You've worked with or inside media agencies and understand how they buy and how they work with clients.
