In this Senior Account Executive role, you will…

• Act as a strategic commercial lead, driving solution-oriented selling to support our mission of becoming the #1 Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform.
• Establish a strong local presence in DACH following our €30M Series B funding round (by a Munich-based VC).
• Drive growth and expand our customer base across the DACH market from lead to closed-won.
• Collaborate across Sales Development, Customer Success, Field Marketing, Partnerships, and Product Development to shape tailored solutions and oversee complex sales cycles.
• Build a high-performing sales pipeline and market, where continuous learning and pipeline ownership are a part of your DNA.
• Deliver impactful demonstrations, navigate multi-stakeholder deals, and accelerate our European expansion.

Who is the Sales Team?
The Sales Team drives our strategic mission to expand Formalize’s footprint and accelerate our growth across key European markets. Based in Munich, this dynamic and ambitious team works closely with cross-functional colleagues across our many offices to bring our solutions to new customers.

Ultimately, the team contributes to our mission of becoming the leading GRC platform by empowering organizations to streamline compliance and operate safely, fairly, and efficiently. As massive regulatory pushes sweep Europe, the team capitalizes on expanding GRC market opportunities and leverages cutting-edge AI features that set Formalize apart from traditional compliance software.

What you’ll bring:

• Proven expertise in B2B SaaS new business sales, with a focus on GRC solutions and complex sales cycles.
• Demonstrated senior experience closing strategic deals and engaging decision-makers across the DACH market.
• Experience in solution-oriented selling, delivering customized, high-impact product demonstrations that address specific prospect needs.
• The ability to systematically build, manage, and execute a high-converting sales pipeline from initial lead to closed-won.
• Professional fluency in German and the ability to work in an English-first team, to communicate value and negotiate seamlessly with customers and colleagues.
• Cross-functional collaboration skills to partner effectively with Pre-sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams.

Our recruitment process:
