Boutique Manager & Global VIC Lead - Cecilie Bahnsen

Cecilie Bahnsen is looking for an outstanding Copenhagen Boutique Manager & Global VIC Lead to run and manage the Copenhagen boutique as well as shape and elevate the global VIC strategy. This is a unique role combining retail leadership, operational excellence and high-level client development. This is a key role within the commercial team and an opportunity to join a dynamic and creative company at an interesting growth phase.

The role

In your role as Boutique manager & Global VIC lead, you will be responsible for the growth, daily operations and exceptional customer experience at the Cecilie Bahnsen boutique in Copenhagen as well as develop and manage our global VIC business. You will lead and inspire a high performing team of sales associates and ensure the boutique reflects the Cecilie Bahnsen universe at all times. You will develop and drive our global VIC strategy from the Copenhagen boutique as well as host trunk shows and VIC activations across global key markets such as NYC, Tokyo, Seoul, Paris and London. You will actively seek out opportunities to grow our global VIC network as well as our boutique business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Copenhagen boutique, creating an inspiring, welcoming and elevated instore experience that reflects the Cecilie Bahnsen universe

• Drive commercial performance, delivering on sales targets and other KPI’s in alignment with expectations

• Create and execute a global VIC strategy, identifying new opportunities to expand VIC client base, increase store footfall, strengthen client relationships and drive overall growth

• Host and curate private appointments, trunk shows and other client facing events

• Take ownership of the boutique assortment, leading the buy and replenishment in collaboration with the commercial team 

• Lead by example with a positive, energetic and solution oriented mindset. Foster a culture of excellence, accountability and team work.

• Recruit, train and retain top talent

• Translate client insight into action by analyzing sales performance, client behaviour and customer feedback  

• Ensure a strong focus on service, story telling and brand experience

• Work collaboratively across internal teams to ensure the business runs smooth and efficiently

• Act as a brand ambassador at all times

Requirements

• Strong background from luxury retail, VIC and clienteling

• Proven ability to drive sales through exceptional service and personalised experiences

• Highly service minded with exceptional interpersonal skills and passion for client relationships

• Commercially driven and numbers oriented

• Proactive, solution oriented and entrepreneurial mindset

• Strong network of concierge service partners, stylists and VIC’s 

• Experience in working across global markets is a plus

• Ability to travel to global markets

The position is based at our Copenhagen boutique and reports to the Commercial Director, Jasmine Benavides.
