Project Material Controller / Storeperson

Role: Project Material Controller

Location: Kalundborg, Region Zealand, Denmark

MSL Engineering Ltd. is a mechanical engineering contractor dedicated to delivering a service that incorporates the highest standards of workmanship, safety, quality and reliability in interpreting and exceeding our clients’ expectations.

We are currently looking for a Material Controller to join our team. The role will be based in Kalundborg, Region Zealand, Denmark.

Requirements

• Receive and inspect plant and machinery. Verify quantities against packing slip and purchase order and update inventory received through computerized software.
• Scan and file copy of all delivery documentation.
• Report all overage, shortages, and damage to purchasing and relevant Engine
• Update the Plant Schedule matching the tag numbers received and storage location.
• Daily contact with the field Supervisors and Engineers to ensure material availability supports planned progress.
• Ensure sign off at site for the items delivered.
• Keep file of all material request forms that have been signed as received at site.
• Manage all project logistics, from supplier/vendor to transportation to off-loading on site.
• Ensure all applicable EHS standards are fully complied with for transport and offloading of materials
• Organize and monitor the storage of materials and their distribution across the project.
• Manage the operation of the site, scheduling and controlling all site deliveries.
• Report to purchasing team weekly on all materials received.
• Previous stores experience an advantage
• Knowledge of mechanical process (pipe & fittings) a distinct advantage
