Operations Executive

Your Role

• Handling of Logistics for in-gauge shipments by air, ocean and road.
• Quoting, organizing, billing, documentation, operating and executing shipments from door to door (unless otherwise stated)
• Following up for rates and corresponding with various associates i.e. airlines, carriers, co-loaders, supplier, overseas offices/agents;
• Maintaining and regularly validating all costs/pricing information from Co loader and other service providers
• Communicating with all departments involved in completing quotations;
• Performing other related duties as requested by supervisor or manager
• Following ISO directions from the Company
• Acting safely always to ensure your own welfare and that of your fellow colleagues on the basis of the defined health &safety targets.
• Focusing on continuously reducing Blue Water's environmental impact on the basis of the defined environmental targets

Your Background

• Minimum 3 years working experience in freight forwarding.
• Strong understanding of freight and operation knowledge
• Strong organizational skills (prioritize, plan, assign and control)
• Good communication skills in English
• Ability to represent the company and to build strong stakeholder relationships
• Ability to deal with stress and flexibility to work after office hours
• Good team player
• Good IT skills in Office365
