Position: Bilingual Danish STEM Expert (PhD) — AI Safety
Type: Contract
Compensation: $61–$65/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities
- Write expert-level prompts in Danish across specialized scientific topics.
- Evaluate and annotate model responses for scientific accuracy , helpfulness, and appropriate handling of sensitive content.
- Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations.
- Ensure AI model safety by leveraging your scientific expertise in Danish technical topics.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance .
Qualifications
Must-Have
- PhD in chemistry , biology , or a closely related field.
- Native or near-native fluency in Danish and business-level written English .
- Deep familiarity with modern laboratory and computational techniques .
- Sound judgment around scientific safety and responsible handling of dual-use information.
Preferred
- Based in Denmark or the wider Western Europe region.
- Expertise in radiochemistry , nuclear chemistry , energetic materials, or radiation physics.
- Depth in a specific subfield like organic or inorganic synthesis , molecular biology , microbiology , virology , or genetics .
- Experience with chemical safety and security , biosafety and biosecurity , or hazardous-materials handling.
- Experience reviewing, grading, or red-teaming technical content.
