Your role

• Be an important part of the team developing and maintaining the hardware deployment automation, storage systems and observability setup
• Be part of designing and maintaining the internal Ubuntu Linux server setup
• Work with Linux based open source software solutions with a focus on creating Infrastructure-as-Code solutions
• Architect and develop the infrastructure setups that enable the next steps in our growth
• Develop infrastructure to provide high-performance and highly available services with millions of daily users
• Make sure anything repetitive is automated

Your skills

• Strong Linux skills
• A solid understanding of working with Linux on bare metal servers
• Experience with one or more languages like Python, C, Golang or Rust
• Experience with large-scale distributed setups is considered an advantage
• Experience with Chef or other configuration management (Puppet, Ansible, Salt etc.) is considered an advantage
• Experience with design and implementation of observability systems for metrics, log collection and tracing is considered an advantage
• In-depth experience with storage systems and file systems is a bonus
• Thrives in a DevOps role where you have end-to-end responsibility for writing, deploying, and maintaining code
• A strong bias towards automating anything repetitive
