The position

Job overall purpose

  • To drive GomSpace sales in the Products Business Unit in the EMEA markets. In the Products Business Unit, GomSpace develops and manufactors a portfolio of standardized satellite subsystems.

Your mission
As Sales Director EMEA in the Product Business Unit, you will drive sales in EMEA working closely with your colleagues in the sales team of Products Business Unit.

What you will do:

Drive Growth

  • Deliver ambitious revenue targets through new business development and expansion of existing accounts.
  • Identify new market opportunities and align customer needs with GomSpace’s value proposition.

Scale with Us

  • Contribute to realizing our commercial growth strategy as we scale rapidly in a high-tech environment.

Develop Value

  • Position and communicate the **value proposition** of GomSpace products with clear focus on customer benefits and end-user value.

Be Strategic & Practical

  • Balance strategic market thinking with daily operational follow-up on opportunities and accounts.

Bring Insights

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders — R&D, Planning & Production, and Quality Assurance — to bring **customer insight into innovation**, shaping future products and solutions.

You will be ready to travel frequently within the region and internationally (30–40%).

Criteria of Success

  • Succesfull participation in execution of the ambitious growth strategy in EMEA

Qualifications

Critical experience

  • You will have an established network within EMEA space sector and the ability to develop new contacts and partnerships across scientific, government, and commercial domains
  • Some years of experience in satellite or aerospace sales and business development

Skills

  • A value-based sales mindset and a natural ability to build trust and credibility
  • Willingness to challenge yourself
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and execution skills
  • Ambitious, curious, and continuously seeking improvement for yourself
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data to inform decisions

Education

  • Relevant business degree is an advantage

GOMSpace is organized as five Business Units managed by a VP. This job is in the Products Business Unit and is referring to the Head of Sales in Products Business Unit. GomSpaces’ headquarter is in Aalborg, Denmark but for this role, you can chose between working at the HQ in Denmark or to work remote.
