Technical Design Consultant

Are you an experienced Technical Designer or Mechanical Engineering Technician looking to deepen your expertise and help shape solutions for the marine and green transition industries? At DESMI, you will join a collaborative and innovative engineering team where you can help turn ideas into products.

A glimpse into the role

• Engineering drawings and technical documentation

• Mechanical design detailing and product configuration

• Preparation of manufacturing and assembly documentation

• Ensuring manufacturability, quality, and cost awareness

• Drawing standards, revision control, and documentation quality

• Coordinating tasks across engineering and project teams

We are looking for a curious, self-driven team player who takes ownership and enjoys solving technical challenges.

We also imagine that you have:

• Technical Designer, Mechanical Engineering Technician, Production Technologist, or equivalent education

• Manufacturing or apprenticeship experience is an advantage

• Experience with machinery, pumps, rotating equipment, piping, pressure vessels, or skid-based systems

• Experience designing machined, welded, cast, and sheet-metal components

• Experience preparing manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, layouts, and bills of materials

• Experience with 3D CAD software (Creo preferred) and PDM/PLM systems such as Windchill

• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerancing, material specifications, and relevant standards

• Strong understanding of manufacturability, assembly, quality, and cost optimization

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Fluent in Danish and English
• Experience from cryogenic, liquefied gas, refrigeration, heat pump, or related industries is an advantage.
