Senior Full-stack Developer

This is an exciting opportunity to work on an impactful product within a critical domain –you will have the chance to contribute to architecture and system design together with a diverse and highly skilled team, working with a broad technology stack focused on quality, security and performance.

What you will be doing
As a key member of our development team, you will play a central role in delivering projects with new functionalities and enhanced versions of our product. You will take ownership of feature deliveries from initial concept through to final release, ensuring high quality and alignment with customer needs.

In your daily work, you will:

• Take the lead on feature development in close collaboration with our architects and stakeholders – turning ideas into concrete technical solutions through clear scoping, requirements breakdown, technical diagrams and task estimation
• Implement, test and deliver new functionality and change requests across the stack
• Work closely with your team-mates to review code and ensure we maintain a high level of code quality and consistency
• Share knowledge, challenge solutions constructively and contribute to continuous improvement within the team

The team
Our work centres on SitaWare Headquarters – an advanced and operationally proven C4ISR solution. The system enables seamless collaborative planning, tactical communication and real-time situational awareness across all command levels and domains. 

You will be joining our HQ programme, a collaborative set-up of around 75 skilled colleagues based in Aarhus and Bucharest. You will become part of a dedicated Scrum/Kanban team consisting of seven Developers, a Tester, an Architect and a Project Manager – all working closely together to deliver high-quality solutions with a strong focus on knowledge sharing and team ownership.

What we are looking for
We are seeking a committed and collaborative Senior Software Engineer who thrives in a professional environment and is motivated to take responsibility and contribute with both ideas and technical expertise.

To succeed in this role, you should bring:

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or another relevant technical field and 3–5 years of experience
• Strong competencies in either Java or modern frontend technologies such as Angular, React or Vue.js, combined with a willingness to work across both frontend and backend
• The ability to contribute to technical improvements and clearly communicate your ideas to the team
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Danish language skills are an advantage but not a requirement
