Purpose of the Job
Lead and shape governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) across Commercial B2C—ensuring strong regulatory adherence, effective risk management, and streamlined governance. Drive key GRC initiatives, including regulatory change, aligning processes, controls, and frameworks to support confident, compliant execution.

Responsibilities of the Job
-Own and continuously improve process documentation, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk and control standards.
-Drive and support assessment, monitoring, and improvement of operational and compliance risks, supporting appropriate controls and contributing to root cause analysis and corrective action planning for risk incidents.
-Coordinate and Drive implementation of regulatory changes impacting commercial B2C, ensuring alignment across processes, documentation, controls, and governance artefacts in collaboration with business area owners and control functions.
-support implementation, oversight and maintenance of Steering documents across commercial B2C.
-Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation, supporting findings reviews, and tracking corrective actions.
-Contribute to F-GRCC and FRF processes, preparing GRC performance reports for management.
-support functional departments with general GRC activities in collaboration with control functions.
-Deliver relevant training to co-workers on GRC related practises.
-support the commercial Management team and senior stakeholders with ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
-Drive and lead cross-functional GRC initiatives, including regulatory change implementations, ensuring timely, coordinated, and compliant execution across impacted areas.
-Operate within one of two primary GRC focus areas, depending on role allocation: either supporting business owners through a dotted-line partnership, or working in a virtual team with the Sourcing & Supplier Management function on Supplier-related GRC.

Education Level
Bachelor's Degree

Experience/Demonstrated Competencies
-Previous experience working in a banking or financial services environment for a minimum of 5 years.
-Previous experience working with governance, risk, and/or compliance activities in a regulated environment.
-Previous experience working with process documentation and process improvement.
-Previous experience supporting or delivering support to co-workers in an engaging and practical manner.

Language Competencies
- fluency in English - written and spoken

Knowledge required
-understanding of GRC frameworks and how they apply in a banking or financial services environment.
-awareness of risk assessment, compliance monitoring, and basic control mechanisms.
-understanding of process documentation standards and how processes connect to risk and regulatory requirements.
-awareness of the regulatory landscape relevant to commercial banking operations.
-Knowledge of how to support training delivery and engage others in compliant ways of working.

Capabilities for this job
-Act as an advisor to business stakeholders on GRC practises, translating regulatory and policy requirements into actionable solutions.
-Able to support and facilitate risk and compliance meetings and forums on behalf of the function.
-Ability to plan, prioritise, and deliver reporting and documentation accurately and on time.
-Capable of identifying when to escalate a risk or compliance issue to the Head of Commercial Office or senior stakeholders.
-Capable of supporting business units in assessing residual risks, managing incidents, and tracking mitigating actions to closure.
-Comfortable presenting GRC topics clearly and confidently to co-workers and internal stakeholders.
-Ability to operate effectively across multiple focus areas (e.g. Business GRC support and Supplier/Sourcing GRC), collaborating in distributed and virtual team setups.
-Strong self-leadership and ability to operate independently, acting as an informal GRC leader by proactively driving initiatives and representing the function across stakeholders.
