About the role

This is a strategically important role within Global Operations Development.
As Manufacturing Development Manager, you will lead the development of Fertin Pharma's long-range manufacturing strategy, ensuring that capacity, technology, and footprint decisions support our commercial ambitions and growth agenda.
You will take ownership of the capacity expansion process, developing business cases, investment plans, footprint scenarios, and make-or-buy recommendations that support Fertin Pharma’s continued growth. Working across Operations, Commercial, R&D, and other key functions, you will help ensure that our manufacturing capabilities remain competitive, agile, and aligned with future business needs.
You will also play a central role in identifying and shaping future technology and capacity initiatives while leading discussions on our Future Factory ambitions.

The position offers significant exposure across the organization and provides a unique opportunity to influence strategic decisions at a global level.

Occasional international travel should be expected.

Your key responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and present long-range capacity plans across business categories
• Drive manufacturing strategy initiatives aligned with Fertin Pharma’s growth ambitions
• Define and optimize our global manufacturing footprint
• Build business cases, cost analyses, investment proposals, and make-or-buy recommendations
• Lead early-stage ideation for technology and capacity development projects
• Facilitate and lead the Future Factory Forum to drive alignment on manufacturing innovation and future capabilities
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Operations, Commercial, Supply Chain, and R&D

What we're looking for

You are a strategic thinker with a strong operational understanding and the ability to convert complex business needs into practical manufacturing solutions. You combine analytical strength with excellent stakeholder management skills and enjoy working across functions and geographies.

We imagine that you have:
• A Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• Experience within manufacturing development, industrial strategy, operations strategy, or a similar discipline
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, technologies, and equipment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• The ability to engage and influence both technical specialists and senior decision-makers
• A collaborative mindset and the drive to challenge existing ways of working
