Requisition ID 892 - Posted - Soeborg - Denmark - Full Time - Associate

Would you like to play a meaningful role in shaping advanced maritime defense solutions that help create situational awareness and support critical decision-making? In this role, you will work at the intersection of systems engineering, architecture, and software development, turning complex requirements into robust and reliable solutions. Come and join us!

We are facing an exciting future with considerable growth and demanding changes. We continue to evolve our advanced technologies and mission critical solutions for the defense and aerospace industry to deliver real-world solutions that matter to the security of people on land, at sea and in the air. Therefore, we are looking for a Systems Engineer to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.

Your role as part of the team

As our new Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping systems and capabilities within our Situational Awareness Maritime domain. Working closely with Product Management, Project Management, Software Developers, Testers, Architects, and fellow Systems Engineers, you will translate complex stakeholder and system requirements into clear, implementable solutions that support the delivery of mission-critical capabilities.

In our team, we take pride in developing people and technology. You will become part of a collaborative and supportive environment where transparency, knowledge sharing, and cross-functional teamwork are essential. We value diverse perspectives and believe the best solutions are created when people work together across disciplines. We care about the work we do and the people behind it.

Technical skills matter, but your mindset matters even more. If you consider yourself curious, analytical, and comfortable navigating complex technical environments while bringing structure, clarity, and your own perspective to the table, then you could be a great addition to our team.

How you will make a meaningful contribution

In this role, you will contribute to a range of tasks across your area of responsibility. Your key responsibilities include:

• Translate system requirements into clear, implementable system element requirements and specifications, ensuring alignment between requirements, architecture, and implementation throughout the development lifecycle
• Contribute to system design and architecture while working closely with Architects and Software Developers to provide technical clarification and transform complex system needs into practical solutions
• Coordinate systems engineering activities across teams and disciplines, supporting system integration, technical problem-solving, and the resolution of cross-functional issues
• Manage system requirements and documentation, participate in reviews of specifications, designs, development tasks, releases, and other technical material, and define and support verification activities together with developers and testers
• Support agile delivery by helping prioritize and maintain the team backlog, defining clear and testable acceptance criteria, and contributing actively to planning, reviews, demonstrations, and technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders.

Bring your expertise into play

To thrive in this role, we imagine that you bring some of the following qualifications:

• Experience working with systems engineering in complex, software-intensive products or solutions, including the development of system-level requirements and specifications in close collaboration with Software Developers
• Strong experience with requirements analysis, specification, system design, and verification, combined with the ability to understand both the broader system context and the technical details needed to support development teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex challenges into clear, actionable, and well-documented requirements
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across multidisciplinary environments and providing technical clarification to support effective decision-making and prioritization
• Experience working in Agile development environments, collaborating with development teams on planning, backlog refinement, and delivery, while maintaining a structured approach to documentation and execution.

Most importantly, we believe diverse experiences add value to our team and organization. Therefore, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all the above requirements.

As we are an international organization, it is important that you are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level.
