Production Engineer - Project Engineer (1)

GE HealthCare seeks a Production Engineer to lead manufacturing process improvements and product changes for medical imaging and surgical visualization devices. The role combines hands-on factory floor engagement with engineering discipline across ECO/NPI implementation, quality investigations, and process validation activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead ECO implementation and NPI activities from impact assessment through closure and production cut-in
• Coordinate first builds and production trials including process updates, training, data collection, and implementation reporting
• Drive NC, INV, and CAPA investigations with root cause analysis and corrective action verification
• Lead equipment qualification and process validation including risk assessment, protocol execution, and documentation
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues hands-on with operators and technicians on the production floor

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience
• Manufacturing engineering, ECO implementation, NPI, or sustaining engineering background
• Experience with NC, INV, CAPA, root cause analysis, and Quality System workflows
• Knowledge of GMP, Quality Management Systems, risk management, and process controls
• Experience in regulated medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments
• Cross-functional collaboration skills across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams
