Senior Product Owner

In our Construction business unit, 450+ colleagues are dedicated to digitising the building industry and making everyday work easier for general and main contractors, subcontractors, and project managers. We are market leaders in Denmark, Norway, and Finland, delivering specialised software that drives efficiency, quality, and sustainability across the construction value chain.

We are also actively investing in how AI can accelerate both our products and the way we build them - and we are looking for people who want to help shape that journey.

Your tasks: Shape, Execute, and Deliver
We are looking for a Product Owner with solid experience from SaaS and agile product teams, ready to take active ownership of EG Ajour’s backlog and deliveries. You will be the link between the Product Manager, the development team, and stakeholders – ensuring that the product vision is translated into valuable, well-executed releases. You will drive and facilitate a cross-functional team spanning Denmark and India, coordinating across time zones and cultures to keep daily operations running smoothly and with clear direction. English is the primary working language, and you will use it confidently across the majority of your daily interactions.

You will be responsible for prioritising and maintaining the product backlog, breaking down strategic goals into concrete user stories, and ensuring high delivery quality in close collaboration with UX and engineering. You have a sharp eye for user needs and know how to balance short-term deliverables with long-term product goals.

At EG Ajour, we are on an exciting journey exploring how AI can transform the way we build and deliver our product. You will be an active part of shaping that journey - bringing curiosity, experimentation, and a willingness to push boundaries into everything you do.

• Own and prioritise the product backlog in close dialogue with the Product Manager and stakeholders.
• Translate customer needs and product strategy into concrete, well-formulated user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate closely with UX and the development team to deliver high-quality releases.
• Keep stakeholders informed, aligned, and confident - translating complexity into clarity across the organisation.
• Drive continuous improvement in how the team works - championing better processes, sharper rituals, and a culture of learning.
• Be part of our AI journey - exploring and applying AI tools to strengthen how we prioritise, deliver, and continuously improve.

You are the ideal candidate if

• You have proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a B2B SaaS environment.
• You have strong knowledge of agile methodologies and Scrum – you are comfortable with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• You have the ability to translate user needs, domain knowledge, and market insights into well-structured user stories, actionable backlogs, and clear acceptance criteria.
• You have excellent communication skills across both technical and business stakeholders.
• You have strong English skills -you are comfortable working in English as your primary language across a distributed, international team.
• You have analytical and data-driven mindset with a focus on business value and ROI.
• You have knowledge of the Danish construction industry is an advantage, especially project management at main- or subcontractor level.
• You have an open and experimental mindset towards AI - you don't need all the answers, but you are genuinely excited to help us find them.
