Product Designer

It’s an exciting time to join Tactile. We're a diverse team of storytellers, puzzle enthusiasts, and casual mobile game creators. Our story began in 2008 in the heart of beautiful Copenhagen, and since then, we have experienced continuous growth, establishing ourselves as one of the largest gaming companies in Denmark. In more recent years, we have been scaling fast, in large part thanks to the success of a little game called Lily’s Garden . Now we’re on a mission to solidify our position as one of the leaders in creating out-of-the-ordinary casual puzzle games. With more than 350 talented individuals, we are a mix of over 50 nationalities and 43% women. We truly appreciate the richness of different experiences and perspectives that Tactilers bring to the game. This is why we foster a lean organisational culture, in which each individual is encouraged to take responsibility, be open, and grow in their own way. We pride ourselves on cultivating a studio environment that avoids crunch, fosters your skills regardless of your discipline, and provides a space for you to be creative alongside other passionate and invested storytellers. 🚀 Your role & impact: We're currently growing our Core team and are on the lookout for another Product Designer to join our team of talented engineers. The Core team builds the internal tools behind Tactile own LiveOps, Marketing and Data operations, the backbone of our studio. We're looking for a second Product Designer to join Joy and our engineers in designing business-critical tools that every team at Tactile depends on. This role is based in our Copenhagen office. How we design: Our tools are data-heavy: dashboards, large tables, complex filters, multi-step workflows. Static mockups can't show how they behave with real data, so we prototype first, in code. We use Claude Code and agentic workflows to build working prototypes, and those prototypes are what we hand off to developers. Figma is still where we sketch and brainstorm AI amplifies our design. It doesn't do design for us. It lets us take on complex workflows that used to get skipped because they took too much effort Quality is not up for debate. We know what good looks like, and we don't ship slop Our product design philosophies are inspired by Vercel, Linear and GitHub This is roughly how we work today. It isn't strict, and we're open to what you bring. Here's a talk that captures our thinking: Okay, let’s get a little bit more specific. Here’s what you’ll be doing on the day-to-day: Research, design and prototype interfaces for our internal tools, then hand working prototypes off to developers Work with your team who use our tools to simplify their workflows Use AI to explore, iterate and prototype efficiently, while you stay responsible for every design decision and not outsource creative thinking. Evolve and contribute to our design system and processes We don't have a big UX team, and that's on purpose. You'll work every day with Product Managers, Frontend and Backend engineers, Artists, Game Programmers. We believe good products come from working across disciplines, so we care about the end product, not design operations What we’re looking for: Hands-on experience with technical B2B products: dashboards, tables, filters, dense interfaces You care more about the end product than about design process, and you thrive working across disciplines Comfortable contributing directly to projects via PRs to improve designs or UX without waiting for programmers to implement them Experience in designing with Claude Code or similar agentic tools Real openness to agentic workflows, without an "AI produces slop" mindset Comfort prototyping in code, or a strong drive to learn A sharp eye for high design craft, quality, and candour when something isn't good enough You'll make us extra excited if you also have: Experience in using Figma/Figma Make or similar design tools Programmer background, comfortable diving into fronted code if necessary Know-how of shadcn, Untitled UI or similar SaaS UI libraries What’s in it for you? 🌆 Beautiful office space with probably the best view in Copenhagen 🩺 Pension and private health insurance 💻 A chance to work with the latest tools and technology 📚 Opportunities for individual growth with development talks as well as workshops, books and courses 🌮 Daily, healthy organic breakfast and lunch prepared by our professional chefs in-house 🥳 Social activities, including game nights, book club, Friday bar and more 🔍 Free Danish lessons with our in-house Danish teacher Our interview process Submit your application via the fill-in form at the top of this page.
