Assistant Project Manager, EPC

Eurowind Energy is looking for a Junior Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager to support the construction of renewable energy projects within wind and solar.

As our new Junior Project Manager, you will become part of the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) department. You will support the planning, coordination, reporting and follow-up needed to deliver safe, high-quality projects on time and within budget—while building your competencies through hands-on involvement and mentoring from senior colleagues.

Your role
As Junior Project Manager, you will support the EPC Project Management team across the full delivery lifecycle. While the overall project accountability sits with a Senior Project Manager/Project Director, you will play a key part in ensuring the project team is aligned, actions are tracked, documentation is controlled, and key interfaces are managed effectively.

You will work closely with internal teams (Development, Finance, Engineering, HSE) and external parties (consultants, contractors, authorities, grid operators) to help ensure works are executed safely, compliantly and according to plan.

Your tasks will include:
Project coordination & delivery support

• Support projects from permitting readiness through EPC to handover to Operations.
• Help organise and follow up on project meetings, action lists, trackers and deliverables.

Planning, reporting & controls

• Assist in maintaining project schedules, milestones and look-ahead plans (incl. updates from site and contractors).
• Support cost tracking, cashflow inputs and basic budget follow-up (e.g., collecting supplier inputs, maintaining logs).

Technical & documentation support

• Support coordination with Engineering to ensure designs and as-built documentation are complete and controlled.
• Assist in compiling project documentation (drawings, permits, test records, QA/QC files, handover dossiers).

Stakeholder & authority interface (supported)

• Support stakeholder management activities (landowners, authorities, grid operators, contractors) by preparing materials, tracking correspondence, and ensuring actions are closed.
• Assist in keeping communication lines open with authorities regarding compliance and implementation requirements, under guidance of the Senior PM.

Procurement & contracts (entry-level exposure)

• Support vendor/subcontractor inquiries (RFQs), bid comparisons and commercial evaluation packs.
• Assist in drafting scope of work documents and maintaining contract logs; negotiation and final decisions are led by the Senior PM/Procurement.

Your profile
We are looking for a motivated early-career professional who wants to develop within EPC project delivery for renewable energy. You may come from engineering, construction management, or a similar technical background and have the drive to learn structured project execution practices.

The professional skills needed in this position:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering or similar.
• 0 - 3 years of experience from construction, engineering, project coordination, consultancy or renewables (project management experience is a plus but not a requirement)
• Interest in understanding renewable project execution, including construction and grid connection interfaces.
• Good knowledge of the MS Office suite (Excel/PowerPoint/Word).
• Good working proficiency in English.

Personal competencies required:

• A structured way of working with strong attention to detail (documentation, action tracking, reporting).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills; confident in working with multiple stakeholders
• Being proactive, curious and dependable - someone who follows through on actions, escalates early, and develops confidence through structured execution and learning from experienced colleagues

Flexibility and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time depending on project locations, are required as well.
