Working across regions, functions, and leadership teams, you will play a key role in expanding our Aerospace & Defence footprint while building strong relationships with customers, industry stakeholders, and strategic partners across the globe.

You will experience and enable a high degree of cross-functional collaboration

Reporting to the Global Contract Logistics Vertical Market Team Aerospace & Defence, you will work closely with regional Commercial organizations, Aerospace & Defence leadership teams, and Global Account Directors.

As a key connector across the business, you will ensure alignment between regional sales teams, global account management, and solution design functions. And you will support collaboration across Contract Logistics, Air & Sea, Solutions Design, Security, Engineering, and Operations teams to deliver integrated customer solutions.

Drive global business development activities across key markets and regions

In this role, you will drive global Aerospace & Defence business development activities across all key markets and regions. This entails landing new business and growing the existing portfolio by actively approaching the market and building relationships with Aerospace & Defence customers, OEMs, Defence primes, Tier suppliers, MRO providers, government-related stakeholders, and strategic industry partners.

An important part of the job is strengthening DSV's position within the global Aerospace & Defence ecosystem and increasing our strategic pipeline development across Contract Logistics and integrated supply chain solutions. This means you will be coordinating and managing projects during tender and implementation phases across corporate, regional, and country levels.

Specifically, you will:

• Support Global Account Directors with large, strategic Contract Logistics opportunities and customer growth initiatives.
• Translate the global Aerospace & Defence strategy into focused business development initiatives and executable growth plans.
• Define required and missing commercial products and services needed to strengthen DSV's Aerospace & Defence value proposition and competitiveness.
• Support the development of differentiated Aerospace & Defence capabilities, including secure warehousing, export control compliance, inventory visibility, resilience solutions, and mission-critical logistics concepts.
• Represent DSV in relevant Aerospace & Defence industry forums, associations, trade events, and customer engagements globally.

Commercially driven and deep Aerospace & Defence industry knowledge

You have the ability to communicate effectively across cultures, countries, and all organizational levels and the willingness to travel internationally on a frequent basis. Moreover, you can influence cross-functional teams within a complex global matrix organization – but also know how to work independently, setting your own agenda, and operating effectively in a highly strategic and dynamic environment.

Finally, we imagine that you:

• Hold a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
• Extensive experience within Aerospace & Defence and/or the logistics industry, including Contract Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or integrated logistics solutions across multiple regions
• At least 5 years of proven experience in senior customer-facing business development or account leadership roles managing strategic Aerospace & Defence accounts internationally
• Strong network and relationship-building capabilities within the Aerospace & Defence industry, preferably including experience with global OEMs, Defence primes, Tier suppliers, and key industry stakeholders
• Experience working with complex RFQs, RFPs, and large-scale strategic logistics opportunities
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to Aerospace & Defence logistics, including export controls, secure supply chains, quality standards, and regional regulatory frameworks
• Fluent English language skills; additional languages are considered an advantage
