What are you going to do? • Commissioning vessels, checking and fault finding of shipyard installations. From smaller tests to large prototype tests. Make sure our systems are fully operational and meets the clients’ requirements. • You are involved in the process of planning, designing, installing, testing, and maintaining various systems. To some degree we also check on Mechanical installations. • • Participation in large and small development projects Coordination of activities and tasks with colleagues in Sønderborg and Hamburg, across the organization as well as with external suppliers and partners Carry out continuous development of R&D and work processes Prepare measurement and data acquisition systems. Troubleshooting and commissioning of systems • • • • • Perform minor or larger programming tasks. Expect 50 % travel, mainly Europe. Your department is responsible for carrying out the startups at the shipyards. Who are you? • • • • Electric engineer, electronic engineer or equivalent qualifications You have hands-on skills and enjoy varied work Knowledge of, or experience with the commissioning process You possess a broad technical understanding (electric, electronic, programming, mechanics) • Experience with programming will be an advantage Moreover, you are a good team player with an individual drive. You show a great deal of independence in your work. You are happy to share your knowledge and understand how to collaborate on many levels. You show a high degree of flexibility. How is your new team? As a Commissioning Engineer you will be part of a very dedicated team with different backgrounds. The department is responsible for carrying out the work at the yards, finalizing the installation of the propulsion system.
