IT Operations Specialist - Hobro, Denmark

We are looking for an IT Operations Specialist to join our team at Eurowind Energy's headquarters in Hobro. You will be part of a fast-paced team that genuinely enjoys the work – designing, running and troubleshooting the infrastructure that keeps the rest of the business moving, while having fun doing it.

Who We Are
Eurowind Energy is a global and leading developer, owner and operator of energy parks. Based in Denmark, we operate in 16 countries around Europe and in the USA, and we are continuously growing our project portfolio. We believe in a future of renewable energy, and we have an ambitious plan of becoming the next generation's "Power Major". Based on a full value chain from greenfield project development to energy trading, more than 700 team members are dedicated to creating a greener future fueled with nothing but renewable energy!

Your Role
As our new IT Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and operating the IT infrastructure that our colleagues across Eurowind Energy rely on every day. Your tasks will include:

• Designing and operating our IT infrastructure, including servers, virtual machines and storage
• Administering and maintaining Windows and Linux systems
• Managing backup solutions and ensuring data is protected and recoverable
• Troubleshooting technical issues and handling incidents through to resolution
• Patch management and coordinating system updates and upgrades
• Capacity planning and performance tuning to keep our infrastructure running smoothly as we grow

What We Offer
You will join a team of skilled colleagues who take pride in what they do without taking themselves too seriously – it's a fast-paced environment, and we have fun getting the job done. Beyond that, we offer:

• A flexible workplace with focus on work-life balance
• Personal and professional development opportunities
• An international, collaborative environment as part of a fast-growing renewable-energy company
• Freedom to use and experiment with AI and digital tools in your daily work
• The chance to be part of a company that matters, in an industry that matters

Required Competencies & Skills
We imagine you have experience with:

• Designing and operating server, virtualization and storage infrastructure
• Administering Windows and Linux systems
• Backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Troubleshooting and incident management
• Patch management, system updates and upgrades
• Capacity planning and performance tuning

As a person, you are structured and detail-oriented, take ownership of the tasks in front of you, and enjoy being part of a team that moves fast and doesn't lose its sense of humor along the way. You are a strong communicator, comfortable working both independently and closely with colleagues.

As this role involves access to critical infrastructure, a clean criminal record is required, and you must be eligible for security clearance.

Renewable energy is our future. And so are our people!
At Eurowind Energy we do our best to create a culture where everyone is valued and feels at home. You will notice this in your everyday work life, where you have the freedom to speak up and where your voice means something to us. We know that when you grow, we grow. Therefore, we strive to support you in what you believe is right and in your personal and professional development. We offer you an exciting job in an energetic and international environment. And we promise you: the wind is never standing still.

Developing, operating and managing wind and solar parks is not just pure business for us. It is a way to view the world. And with this worldview comes a genuine ambition to be one of the leading developers in Europe. Because creating a future run entirely on green energy matters to us.

We manage our own portfolio of projects and at the same time, we perform technical and financial management of projects. We have throughout many years experienced sustained economic growth in the number of developed projects and companies in management. And we continue to expect this. Simply because it is in our nature to keep developing – projects, companies and our people.
