Martech Director, Sweden - IMPACT

ABOUT THE JOB
At Impact Commerce, we are looking for a Martech Director to be our senior expert and trusted advisor in Data & Martech — the person clients want in the room, and the one our agency builds its credibility around.

You will own the long-term vision for our Martech practice: standardising methodology and service offerings and driving innovation by integrating emerging technologies into our delivery model. You will identify market trends early so our offerings are adjusted proactively and stay ahead of competitor movements, working closely with our Managing Director, SE, and cross-functional teams.

More specifically, in this role we expect you to have:
Client advisory & delivery

• Define and execute data strategies aligned with client business objectives — martech stack selection and implementation, measurement frameworks, personalisation maturity.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for C-suite and VP-level stakeholders (CMO, CDO, CTO).
• Oversee delivery of complex technical projects across cross-functional teams, owning the quality and direction of deliverables.

Commercial contribution

• Define the value proposition for complex enterprise prospects and develop new business within existing accounts.
• Drive strong commercial engagement in both pre-sales and proposal development for Martech opportunities.
• Build long-term strategic relationships with enterprise clients.

Thought leadership

• Define and evolve IMPACT’s point of view on Data & Martech topics.
• Develop reusable frameworks, assessments, and methodologies the broader team can leverage.
• Raise the bar — mentoring senior consultants to build internal expertise and leadership capacity.

Internal collaboration

• Collaborate across practices (Commerce, Experience, Strategy) to create integrated cross-department solutions.
• Act as an internal expert resource on complex client challenges.
• Manage high-level stakeholder relationships to ensure long-term account success.

Innovation and trends

• Monitor emerging Martech technologies, platforms, and best practices.
• Establish partnerships with leading Martech vendors.
• Drive internal knowledge development and external thought leadership.

YOUR PROFILE
As Martech Director, you will set IMPACT’s point of view on Data & Martech and act as the trusted advisor enterprise clients turn to for their data-driven marketing ambitions. You combine deep technical credibility with a genuinely commercial mindset, equally comfortable in a workshop with a CDP architecture and in the boardroom with a CMO.

We are looking for a customer-centric, innovative expert who can contribute to a fun and healthy everyday culture at IMPACT while setting a high standard in collaboration with colleagues:

• Customer-centric — always prioritises client value and measurable outcomes, and understands client business models, challenges, and strategic objectives.
• Innovative — proactively explores new Martech solutions, platforms, and AI capabilities, and drives thought leadership in marketing technology.
• Commercially engaged — originates and co-leads new business within new and existing accounts, including scoping and pricing.
• A confident communicator — able to present complex technical roadmaps at CMO/CDO/CTO level and influence across marketing, technology, and data.

At last, we imagine you have:

• 10+ years of experience within Martech, digital marketing technology, or marketing platforms.
• Strong experience with enterprise Martech ecosystems (CDP, CRM, marketing automation, personalisation platforms) and enterprise commerce organisations.
• A proven track record of delivering data and Martech strategies that drive measurable commercial outcomes for enterprise or mid-market clients.
• A proven track record in consulting or digital transformation roles, with strong leadership and team management experience.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing, Technology, Business, or a related field.
• Deep understanding of data-driven marketing and customer journeys, Nordic enterprise client experience (DK/SE/NO), experience with agile delivery models and digital product teams, or certifications in major Martech platforms (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe) are all a strong plus.
