Triband is the award-winning studio behind the WHAT THE? comedy game series, played by millions worldwide. From our home in central Copenhagen, more than 60 wonderful humans are united by a simple mission: to make everyone laugh.

We’re working on our most ambitious project to date: a new systemic open-world game built around a beloved IP, with our own spin on it. A bold new direction for us! And we're just getting started.

We're looking for a Senior 3D Artist to join a project team of around 15-20 people and help build a world players will explore. You’ll be part of shaping the game’s environments and 3D art from early on, collaborating closely with our Art Director to nail down the look and feel.

Here’s what you’ll do day to day

• Explore and help nail down the 3D art style and world look, in close collaboration with our Art Director, always prioritizing player experience
• Create 3D models and implement them in Unity
• Create environment art and dress up scenes: lighting, object placement, and everything that makes a space feel real
• Model LOD versions of your models, keeping the world running smooth without losing charm
• Help improve the art pipeline, balancing efficiency and speed with creativity and quality
• Support the project and team across art-related areas as they come up

You're a great match if

• You feel comfortable adapting to and working within an existing art style
• You have extensive experience working in-engine. We use Unity so that’s preferred, but experience with other engines works too
• You have experience with 3D modeling software (we mostly use Blender, but any tool works)
• You’ve worked in multiple small to mid-sized teams before, where proactivity, shared responsibility, and candid feedback were key to good collaboration

Nice to have

• Experience with environmental storytelling
• Experience creating game art for small screens, optimized for readability and performance
• A gameplay-first mindset, meaning you always think about what art tasks have the most impact on the game and gameplay
• Experience using procedural world-building systems
• Experience using particle systems and creating VFX in Unity
• Interest in using procedural tools, automation, or any other means to increase efficiency in the art pipeline
• Application of color theory and composition principles in your work (and can explain them to clueless friends or family members)

Practicalities

• We work on-site at our cozy office in central Copenhagen, right by the lakes.
• We’re not offering relocation for this role and only consider people located in the Greater Copenhagen area.
• We work a 37-hour work week with flexible working hours.
• Our working language is English.
